| Man held for preparing fake, fradulent degrees | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Mar 26: Police have arrested a man for fraduently preparing and distributing fake degrees.
According to the details available with Early Times on receiving a complaint from Sunny Kumar son of Kasturi Lal Nai Basti R S Pura,
a police team of police station R S pura led by SHO Jai Pal Sharma under the supervision of SDPO RS pura were constituted.
Acting swiftly police team arrested one accused namely Ravi Kumar son of Pritam Chand R/O Kotli Gala Bana RS Pura who fraudulently prepared fake document’s, degree supposed to be issued from different universities of different states and distributed the same among the locals of the area in order to earn more money illegally.
About 100 fake degrees, documents have been recovered. The accused was arrested and taken on police remand.
It is pertinent to mention here that the said accused while preparing fake degree , marksheets was using the names of the universities like Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidhya Pith Varanasi, ,,Shatrpti Shahuji Maharaj university Kaanpur UP ,Himachal Pradesh University Board, Karnataka University, CSJM University Kanpur, UP etc.
In addition to this said accused was taking Rs. 25000/- for diploma marksheet and Rs. 45000/- for degree.
There is an apprehension of involvement of interstate gang in this fraud. In this regard case FIR No 46/2022 U/S 420/468/471/465 IPC stands registered in ps RS Pura
Further investigation going on. |
