| Job aspirants await final selection list | | ‘Is this transparent recruitment process we were promised ?’ | |  Early Times Report
Srinagar, Apr 2: Job aspirants who had appeared for the exams for various posts in Health and Medical Education Department last year staged a massive protest here on Saturday against the failure of the Jammu and Kashmir Service Selection Board (JKSSB) to release the final selection list.
Aspirants told reporters that they are being made to run from pillar to post to seek justice. “The officials tell us that our final selection lists have been withheld as the staffers, who were engaged on contractual basis, have approached the court and the matter is sub-judicious.”
They said that till date they have staged many protests but no one is listening to them. “We want to ask the administration, is this the transparent recruitment process that was promised to us?” they asked.
They urged the Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha, to intervene and come for their rescue. |
