Martyr’s son awaits adjustment under SRO 43 in J&K

KISHTWAR, Apr 27: Sukhjeet Kumar son of Martyr Havaldar Prem Lal of 8 JKLI of Badanoo Thathri who laid down his life in an encounter at Poonch on 24-8-2000 is still waiting for his appointment under SRO-43 and his file is switching between Civil Secretariat, Government of J&K and DC office Doda since last more than 4 years.
Speaking to Early Times, Sukhjeet Kumar hold the qualification of BA/B.Ed said that he visited from office to office for getting his appointment under SRO.43, but his file got stuck in General Administrative Department in civil secretariat.
Sukhjeet who had come to Kishtwar to attend army's grievances cum redressal camp held today at helipad Kishtwar raise the issue of his appointment with senior army officials who assured him to take up the matter with civil administration. He said that his father while fighting the Pakistani militants at forward line killed nearly 10 terrorist before achieving the martyrdom added that even after several years of fighting for survival along with his 3 sisters, government of Jammu and Kashmir fail to provide him and many like him with a job in any government department.
"I urged the LG administration to look into the issue of my delayed appointment under SRO 43 along with many other cases like him" Sukhjeet said and hope that his matter related to appointment under SRO 43 will get addressed without any further delay.
