Irony! Foreign investments welcome, but J&K has no electricity

Early Times Report

Jammu, Apr 27: The unscheduled power cuts in Jammu and Kashmir have punctured the tall claims of the government about revolutionizing the power sector in the Union Territory.
An analyst while talking to Early Times said, “On one hand the government is inviting foreign investors to set up industries in J&K on the other it has failed to provide the electricity.
I want to ask the government how these industries will run in absence of power. People cannot sleep in absence of electricity and are unable to work in their units. How will the system run.”
He said, “The big babus who don’t face these power cuts should be made to face what a common man is facing. It’s unfortunate that a common man has been left to die.
There is no planning and execution. Summer has arrived two months earlier and the JPDCL has been caught napping. The officials have failed as they have no idea about how to run the system.”
