| Common Yoga Protocol sessions held at Udhampur | | | Early Times Report
UDHAMPUR, June 14: As a countdown to the 8th International Yoga Day on June 21, programmes of common Yoga protocol were organized at five blocks of the district Udhampur by Rural Development and AYUSH Department with a theme "Yoga for Humanity".
As many as 600 participants participated in the Yoga session held at 5 different places viz in Block Tikri, Chenani, Ramnagar, Majalta and Udhampur.
Block Development Chairman, Arti Sharma also participated at the yoga session in Block Ghordi and said that Yoga is now uniformly and universally recognized and documented as an alternative system of medicine and called upon the people to make it as part of their life for health living.
PG College for Boys Udhampur, District officers along with the other participants participated and appreciated the initiative of the RDD and AYUSH department for organizing the countdown to the International Yoga Day.
In other place large number of people, AYUSH team member, officials of RDD participated in the Yoga protocol session along with PRIs of the respective area. |
