Mata Roop Bhawani Prakash Utsav celebrated

JAMMU, June 14: 401st Prakash Utsav (Janam Divas) of Alakhishwari Mata Shree Roop Bhawani was celebrated at Mata Shree Roop Bhawani Temple, Mata Shree Roop Bhawani Lane, Tirath Nagar, Talab Tillo, Jammu with religious fervor & piety. On this occasion the Hawan was solemnized which started on 13th June 2022 at midnight amongst chanting of Vedic Mantras and Mata Shree`s Shalokas (vakhs). Puran Ahuti was offered today the 14th of June 2022 at 12.00 noon after recitation of Mata Shree`s path at 11 A.M. The occasion was attended by a huge gathering of devotees. There after Maha Prasad was served to the devotees. All Covid protocols & precautions were maintained. It was prayed to Sharika Swaroopa Mata Shree Roop Bhawani to bless our country, the Sanatan Darma, all our countrymen and protect us all from all ailments, miseries and pandemic covid.
Puja Archana & offering of Prasad was also offered at Janam Bhoomi at Dedmar Safa Kadal, Srinagar, by devotees supported by SAS Trust. The Pooja Archana on this day was also held at Cheshma Sahibi in Srinagar & Waskura & Manigam Asthapans in District Ganderbal. Mata Shree`s Kheer Prasad was served to all visiting devotees.
The President in his address apprised the devotees about the future projects of preservation of Kashmir Shrines/ Asthapans managed & maintained by SAS Trust which includes renovation, face lifting & landscaping of Mata`s Shrine/ Asthapans at Cheshma Sahibi , renovation of Temple at Nawa Kadal & Taposthal at Janam Bhoomi Dedmar, Safa Kadal, Taposthalls at Waskura, Manigam and Lar.
