Gurjar Desh Charitable Trust celebrates 32nd annual foundation day

Jammu, June 7: The 32nd Annual Foundation Day of Gurjar Desh Charitable Trust (Regd.) Jammu was celebrated under the management of GDCT. In his welcome address, General Secretary Mohd Sharief Chouhan warmly greeted the Trustees and participants, acknowledging the lifetime achievements of Dr. Masud Ahmed Choudhary, the founder of GDCT.
The Founder Trustees, including Jnb Bashir Ahmed Noon, Jnb. Shouket Javed, and Jnb. Shouket Perwez, spoke about their association with the Trust and praised Dr. Masud Ahmed Choudhary’s contributions.
They emphasized the importance of following his footsteps and urged everyone to contribute their time and efforts to the Gurjar Desh Charitable Trust and the community.
Other Trustees and participants, such as Advocate Zulkarnain Choudhary, Adv. Mushtaq Ahmed, Advocate Aslam Khan, Madam Farida Javed, Jnb. Saleem Mohd., Haji Amir-ud-Din Kasana, Mr. Bilal Chowdhary, Jnb. Mohd. Sayed, and Ms. Radhu Gupta, expressed their support for the upliftment of the Nomadic and Pastoral Community and emphasized the need for special efforts in that regard.
The Chairman of the Trust praised the Founder Trustees for their services in the field of education and assured the participants that the GDCT Trustees would spare no effort in fulfilling the dreams of Dr. Masud Ahmed Choudhary.
During the function, valuable suggestions were made by the participants. Senior citizens, members of the civil society, youth from different districts of J&K, and the Youth Wing of GDCT also participated and appreciated the Trust’s efforts in education, preserving culture, language, and the rich heritage of Gujjars in Jammu and Kashmir.
The function was attended by the Trustees, senior citizens, dignitaries, and heads of various social organizations. Vote of Thanks was presented by the General Secretary, and guests were served tea and snacks.
