GGHSS Kothian organizes seminar on communal harmony

JAMMU, June 7: The 108th Seminar for the promotion of Communal Harmony and National Integration took place at Govt. Girls Hr. Sec. School in Kothian, Tehsil: Nowshera, Distt. Rajouri (J&K UT). The event was organized in collaboration with the school administration and arranged by Lekh Raj Raina, a social activist from the area and organizer of Peace and Harmony. Lekh Raj Raina is a resident of Village Bajabain, Tehsil Beri Pattan, Distt. Rajouri.
The seminar was held under the chairmanship of Hardayal Singh, the Principal of the School, who served as the chief guest. The staff members of the school, 500 boys and girls from the school, prominent dignitaries, and social workers from the area were also present at the seminar.
During the seminar, three students from the school took the stage and delivered speeches, songs, and poems emphasizing the importance of peace and harmony as the only path for promoting communal harmony and national integration. They stressed that fostering peace and harmony is crucial for the development and progress of the nation.
The seminar began with the chief guest hosting the National Flag along with the offering of agarbathi (incense) and flowers in front of the picture of Mahatma Gandhi, the Father of the Nation. The participants recited the National Anthem with sweet voices.
In his welcome address, Lekh Raj Raina, the organizer of the seminar, expressed his gratitude to the school administration for arranging the event in their institution. He also thanked the dignitaries for their participation. Raina recited a beautiful song advocating for the promotion of communal harmony and emphasized that working towards communal harmony is essential for unity and brotherhood, transcending caste, creed, and color, and for maintaining the integrity of the nation.
The chief guest, Hardayal Singh, extended his gratitude to Lekh Raj Raina for his dedication towards the upliftment of society. He also commended the young participants of the school for their commitment to fostering brotherhood and unity.
