Early Times Report

Jammu, May 15: In the aftermath of the brutal Pahalgam terror attack, security agencies have identified 14 terrorists directly involved in perpetrating this heinous crime. Swift and decisive action by security forces has led to the elimination of six of these terrorists in recent operations in South Kashmir.
On Tuesday, three terrorists, including a self-styled operational commander of the proscribed terror outfit Lashkar-e-Taiba, were neutralized in a targeted operation. This was followed by another successful encounter today in the Tral area of Pulwama district, where three more terrorists were killed.
The operations reflect the security forces' relentless efforts to dismantle the terror network responsible for the attack. Eight of the identified terrorists remain at large, and agencies are intensifying efforts to track and neutralize them to ensure justice and restore peace in the region.
Inspector General of Police (IGP) Kashmir V K Birdi said that three terrorists have been killed in the ongoing operation in the Tral area of south Kashmir.
Reports said that the killed terrorists belonged to the Jaish-e-Mohammad outfit and were eliminated in an operation in Nadar Lorgam area of Tral in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
A top police officer said that three JeM terrorists have been killed in the operation with security forces in Nadar Lorgam area.
The identity is being ascertained, further details will be shared later, reports said.
Earlier, a gunfight broke out between militants and security forces in Nadar Lorgam.
