JAMMU, June 20: As part of its ongoing three-day celebration of the International Day of Yoga, Vishwa Yog Sansthan organized a vibrant and spiritually uplifting yoga session on June 20. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from yoga practitioners, school students, and local volunteers, all gathering under the calming skies of a rainy morning to celebrate the spirit of yoga.
The session was graced by Yogal Kishore Ji as the Chief Guest and Excise Commissioner Namrita Dogra Ji as a Special Guest. Both dignitaries, along with Yog Guru Karan Ji, Acharya Dr. Rajinder Ji, and Victor Ji, the International Coordinator of Vishwa Yog Sansthan, performed the official Common Yoga Protocol, inspiring the attendees with their commitment to holistic well-being.
The serene weather added to the energy of the event, with hundreds of participants flowing through asanas in unison, reflecting harmony and wellness.
The celebration also saw the enthusiastic involvement of students from various schools, who showcased their discipline and interest in the ancient practice of yoga.
Looking ahead, Yog Guru Karan Ji announced that all preparations are in place for the International Telecast of the Mega Yoga Event scheduled for 21st June. He extended a warm invitation to the people of Jammu-especially the youth and elderly-to participate in this grand event and contribute to spreading the message of health, unity, and peace through yoga.
The Vishwa Yog Sansthan continues to serve as a beacon of yoga and cultural harmony, bringing communities together in the spirit of well-being.
