Exudes hope about PM fulfilling his statehood promise

Jammu, June 20: Asked whether the National Conference would move the Supreme Court for the restoration of statehood, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah hoped that Prime Minister Narendra Modi would fulfill his promise of restoring statehood to Jammu and Kashmir.
He reminded that while addressing a function of the Sonamarg tunnel, the Prime Minister had promised to restore statehood. “We are hopeful that the promise will be fulfilled.
Notably, while addressing a rally after inaugurating the Sonmarg tunnel on January 13, the Prime Minister has promised that all issues of the people of J&K will be addressed.
