JAMMU, Dec 4: The annual gathering of the Rattan Vansh was held today at the Rattan Vansh Devsthan in Sarwal, Jammu, in an atmosphere filled with devotion and enthusiasm. On this occasion, a large number of devotees from various parts of Jammu and Punjab arrived and bowed their heads at the Rattan Vansh Devsthan to seek blessings for the welfare, progress, and prosperity of themselves and their families. The entire premises echoed with an environment of devotion, spirituality, and familial unity. Social activist and former vice-chairman Balbir Ram Rattan, along with key office-bearers of the Trust, paid obeisance at the Devsthan. He prayed to the Rattan Vansh deities for peace, brotherhood, and the strength to move forward in society. Trust officials R. K. Rattan, Praveen Rattan, Raj Kumar Rattan, and Charanjeet Rattan also bowed before their deities at the Devsthan along with Balbir. Balbir stated that this annual gathering at the site is not only a religious event but also a medium to connect families, the younger generation, and the community with their roots. He said that the history of the Rattan Vansh has been full of service, sacrifice, and values. Such events remind us of our traditions and guide society in a positive direction. He added that unity within the community is vital in today's time. At this sacred site of the Rattan Vansh, all of us draw inspiration to actively contribute to the welfare of society, the spread of education, assistance to the needy, and the guidance of youth. Balbir Ram Rattan also remarked that the social and religious efforts undertaken by the Trust are commendable and need to be expanded in the future so that more people can benefit. He urged all devotees to participate enthusiastically in such events and contribute to carrying forward their lineage, traditions, and social values. A community meal (langar) was also organized at the Devsthan, where all devotees received prasad. The Trust thanked all visiting devotees and expressed confidence that in the coming years this gathering would be organized with even greater grandeur and devotion.
