GDC Vijaypur organizes Human Chain under Red Ribbon Club and NSS to raise Awareness on Drug Abuse & HIV/AIDS

VIJAYPUR, Feb 14: The Red Ribbon Club and NSS of Government Degree College Vijaypur organized a Human Chain Awareness Programme in the college campus to spread awareness about HIV/AIDS and promote the message of social responsibility and healthy living.
The event was organized by Prof. Arti Sharma (HOD, Department of Environmental Sciences) & Prof. Naseem Chowdary (HOD, Department of English), who motivated students to actively participate in awareness activities aimed at building a more informed and compassionate society. The students and Faculty members enthusiastically formed a human chain within the campus premises, holding placards and raising slogans to highlight the importance of awareness, prevention, and eradication of stigma associated with HIV/AIDS.
The programme was conducted under the able guidance of Principal Dr. Ashu Vashisht, who appreciated the initiative of the Red Ribbon Club and emphasized the role of educational institutions in spreading awareness about critical health and social issues. The whole programme was coordinated by Prof. Arti Sharma and co-coordinated with the efforts of Prof. Anoop Kumar Bhagat, Prof Ritu Bhagat, Prof. Manoj Heer, Prof. Meetu Sharma, Prof, Gunjeet Mahiwal ,Prof Anoop Singh, Prof Abdul Waheed Khandey, Prof. Manisha Bharti , Prof Indu Bala also graced the occasion.
