JAMMU, Feb 14: RHS School celebrated the auspicious festival of Maha Shivaratri with great devotion and spiritual fervour during a special morning assembly held on campus today.
The school premises transformed into a serene and divine ambience, resonating with the chants of sacred hymns dedicated to Lord Shiva. The students beautifully presented soulful bhajans and devotional songs, filling the atmosphere with positivity and reverence.
A captivating dance performance was the highlight of the celebration. The students artistically portrayed the powerful and divine roop of Shiva, reflecting his cosmic energy, grace, and strength. Through expressive movements and vibrant costumes, the performance symbolized the deeper spiritual essence of the festival and left the audience spellbound.
The Director Mrs Ruchi Charak of the school graced the occasion with her esteemed presence. Addressing the gathering, she explained the significance of Mahashivratri as a celebration of inner awakening, self-discipline, and the victory of light over darkness. She encouraged students to cultivate qualities like truthfulness, compassion, and inner strength in their daily lives, reminding them that true devotion lies in good conduct and positive actions.
