"Nowadays ACD and block offices in state are flooded with hoarding and flexes regarding funds under 14th FC and other schemes. It's a grave violation of MCC, and the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) should immediately take cognizance of this scandalous move of the department", said a senior bureaucrat whishing not to be named. Process of release of funds for Panchayats begun some days ago, and it is contrary to guide lines of the MCC. "Poonch block to get Rs ...

10/30/2018 11:03:37 PM
Early Times Report jammu, Oct 30: Ahead of her possible entry into the National Conference, a former leader of the JNU has started playing her "Muslim card." The student leader who would often claim to be "liberal" and "open minded" has suddenly started projecting herself as a Muslim. The former JNU leader recently wrote a post in the twitter to say that she was from a particular community. "I'm a Muslim. Accept me as I am," she posted on her handle. Indeed, if Sardar Patel had become first PM, there would've been no Kashmir problem
10/30/2018 11:03:10 PM
Early Times Report jammu, Oct 30: PM Narendra Modi on Sunday did a great service to the nation by saying that had Sardar Patel been the first Prime Minister of India, there would have been no Kashmir problem. There is no doubt whatever that Jawaharlal Nehru hampered the process of national integration and State formation. A reference to just one instance in this regard would be enough to demonstrate the damage that Nehru did to India and the polity. The case in point is Jammu & Kashmir. There were 560-odd Princely States in India whose political future was to be determined in the wake of the Congress' unstinted support to the Muslim League's demand seeking a communal partition of the B...

Increases office timing by half an hour in evening
10/30/2018 10:02:57 PM
Jehangir Rashid Early Times Report SRINAGAR, Oct 30: Some of the orders issued by government departments in Jammu & Kashmir seem to be mindless with the application of 'brain' missing in issuance of such orders. An order issued by General Administration Department (GAD) on October 25, 2018 seeks to enhance or increase the timing of government offices in Jammu and Kashmir divisions of the state from November 1. The enhancement of timing in Jammu can be understood, but enhancing the same in Kashmir in winter is somewhat perplexing. As the winter has already set in and the days are short increasing the timing of government offices by half an hour in Kashmir is mind boggling and no less th...
