jammu, Nov 7: Around two months have passed since the day National Conference vice-president and former J&K chief minister Omar Abdullah said that he would be vacating his Gupkar residence. However, it seems that Omar has forgotten what he had claimed.
Junior Abdullah on September 9 this year said he would be vacating his government accommodation in Srinagar. He was responding to the media reports that claimed that Jammu and Kashmir administration has sent notice to Omar to vacate his government bungalow.
Omar wrote a letter to the J&K administration and sought eight to 10 weeks' time for finding a suitable accommodation. He had shared the letter on social media and clarified that he is doing so on his own.
" I will be vacating my government accommodation in Srinagar before the end of October. The point to note is that contrary to stories planted in the media last year I received no notice to vacate & have chosen to do so of my own accord," he had tweeted.

SRINAGAR, Nov 7: The percentage of active positive cases of Corona Virus in the union territory of Jammu & Kashmir as on date is less than six percent of the total positive cases even though 532 new cases of virus were reported today.
With the addition of fresh cases the total number of positive cases in Jammu & Kashmir reached 98,337 and out of this 5,584 (5.68 percent) are active positive. The death toll due to the virus reached 1,528 as five fresh deaths were reported in the past 24 hours.

SRINAGAR, Nov 7: There has been an increase in tourist flow in the last few months in Kashmir.
In October, around 2700 visited the valley which indicates there was 100 percent increase in tourist inflow when comparing with previous months.
However, around 19,000 tourists visited Kashmir valley this year, which otherwise witnesses a huge rush of tourists.
The less tourist inflow is because of COVID-19 lockdown.
