Early Times Report Jammu, Feb 2: Much hyped slogan of BJP "Ek vidhan, ek nishan aur ek samvidhan (one country, one emblem and one constitution)" and several other promises made by Narendra Modi before 2014 Lok Sabha elections could not see day, during his 58 months rules in country. During his "Lalkaar Rally" at Jammu on December 1, 2013, he made several promises with Jammuites, which could not see day light. Modi in his rally talked about women, however, the PDP-BJP Government, tried a bit to meet the promises exempted women from stamp duty if, land is purchased on a woman's name, but the step lasted over few months of its implementation. No further steps were taken for welfare of women.
