Hours before PM's arrival, inauguration of key project dropped from schedule

Jehangir Rashid Early Times Report SRINAGAR, Feb 1: Hours before the scheduled arrival of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Jammu & Kashmir inauguration of one of the key projects has been dropped owing to the non-completion of the project. Early Times has learnt from sources that the e-inauguration of Saffron Park has been deferred since the work on the park has not been completed as yet. The park was supposed to be inaugurated through e-mode by Prime Minister at Sher-I-Kashmir International Conference Centre (SKICC) here during his February 3 visit to the state. The Saffron Park is located in the Dusoo village in the Pampore area in South Kashmir's Pulwama district. The park is coming up under the prestigious National Saffron Mission programme and so far approximately Rs. 50 crores have been spent on the project.
