Early Times Report Jammu, June 12: The arrest of two-hybrid terrorists by security forces on Saturday made a startling disclosure that Pakistan-based handlers are instigating newly recruited terrorists to indulge in selective killings. Although with the timely action of security forces attempt to execute selective killings of the minority community was foiled, the new strategy of terrorists and their mentors has been exposed. According to police two terrorists namely Irshad Ahmad Mir (23) and Zahid Bashir (18) both residents of Nehalpora, Pattan were arrested on Saturday. Early Times Report Srinagar, June 12: A Lashker-e-Toiba (LeT) militant was killed in a chance encounter that erupted between a militant and Police in Kreebal Palpora Sangam area of Srinagar Sunday evening. A chance encounter started at Kreesbal Palpora Sangam area of Srinagar with terrorists and a small team of Srinagar police during which a LeT militant was killed, a police tweet said. The slain militant has been identified as Adil Parray of Ganderbal. Suspicious gunny bag creates panic

Early Times Report Srinagar, June 12: Panic gripped Rawalpora area of uptown Srinagar when a suspicious looking unclaimed gunny bag was found lying on the road on Sunday. Sources said a suspicious gunny bag was found at Rawalpora road and the security forces were alerted who rushed to the spot and called the Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS). The area was cordoned off and traffic was suspended on the road as a precautionary measure. However, the BDS after reaching the spot and when they checked the gunny bag did not find any kind of explosives or Improvised Explosive Device (IED) in it, they said. Early Times Report Srinagar, June 12: Security forces gunned down three Lashker-e-Toiba (LeT) terrorists during an overnight gun battle in Pulwama district of south Kashmir, police said. One terrorist was killed yesterday and two others were shot dead during the overnight operation. All the three killed terrorists are locals, linked with terror outfit LeT, Inspector General of Police Vijay Kumar said. Early Times Report Jammu, June 12: Two Army jawans on Sunday suffered injuries due to an accidental landmine blast near the Line of Control in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir.
