Early Times Report
Jammu, May 14: Coalition government of PDP and "nationalist" BJP has denied permission to social organization "Youth for Nation" to hoist tricolourand categorically told them not to proceed to Srinagar for hoisting National flag at historical Lal Chowk on May 16th at 11.30 AM. The government while denying the permission cited law and order problem as a reason for denying the permission. The aim of "Youth for Nation" to hoist National flag at Lal chowk is to give a warning to anti national forces in Kashmir, beside to serve a massage to them that we are united against them, particularly in wake of the aftermath of waving of Pakistani flag during Geelani Srinagar and Tral rally.
While at the same time the move has also frustrated the amalgam of militant outfit United Jehad Council headed by Mohammad Yousaf Shah alias Syed Salahuddin who jumped in the controversy and warned the "Youth for Nation" and Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed against any such move that allow hoisting of flag at Lal Chowk.
A Srinagar based news agency while quoting Hizb chief, spokesperson United Jihad Council Syed Sadaqat Hussain, said that during his address at a high level meeting, UJC Chief Syed Salahuddin appeal Kashmiri people and Hurriyat leaders to be vigilant and cautious, and termed the move as "Conspiracy Hatched" to kill Kashmiri people, added that they should collectively make this wicked conspiracy unsuccessful.
As soon as the plan of hoisting National flag by Youth for Nation becomes public after "Early Times carried out a detail report in its 7-05-2015 edition, the organization members not only started receiving threatening calls and massages from hardliner elements in Jammu and Kashmir, but also prom Pakistan and Pak Occupied Kashmir.
"We started receiving threat calls not only form hardliners active in the state, but also from the Pakistan with +92 code, beside threat calls from Pakistan, we also received text messages from Pakistan which are not only threatening, but also promoted slogans favoring Huriyat leader Musarat Alam, Geelani and Yasin Malik" said Youth For Nation activists.
Meanwhile the "nationalist" BJP which is part of the government in Jammu and Kashmir prefer to maintain criminal silence over the issue as despite repeated request for the comment on UJC reaction and the reason thereof for denying permission to the "Youth for Nation" for hoisting National Flag at Lal Chowk, the party leaders plays prank to divert the attenssion from the issue which was once raised by the party in 2011.
It is pertinent to mention that BJP which is coalition partner to PDP in Jammu and Kashmir and also in government at centre made similar attempt of hoisting National flag at Srinagar's Lal Chowk on 26 January 2011, but the then Omar Abdullah led NC-Congress government did not allow the BJP National Youth President Anurag Thakur to hoist the national flag at "Lal chowk" so as to bring an end to over a month long Tringa yatra and even bundle out the then leader of opposition in Lok Sabha Sushma Swraj (Now External Affairs Minister in Modi Government) and leader of opposition in Rajya Sabha Arun Jaitley (Now Finance Minister in Modi Government) from Jammu airport in vehicles and escorted them outside J&K boundary.
Now Nationalist forces will definitely ask question to the BJP who is part of the government in Jammu and Kashmir and will seek answer from them that why the government did not allow the Youth for Nation to hoist the national flag.
