SRINAGAR: Speaker, J&K Legislative Assembly, Mr. Mubarak Gul has paid rich tributes to the Martyrs of 13th July, 1931.
Offering Fateh Khwani at the Mazar-e-Shohada at the shrine of Hazrat Khwaja Naqashband Sahib (RA), Mr. Gul said that the martyrs laid their lives against the atrocities of autocratic rule to pave way for secular and democratic set-up. “They offered supreme sacrifice to uphold the values of natural justice, pluralistic ethos, amity and brotherhood”, Gul added.
He said best way to offer tribute to the martyrs was to work for strengthening the principles of moral values and democracy. He said martyrs will continue to inspire coming generations to live a dignified life and struggle for justice and rights. |
