Jammu, Apr 20: The Jammu and Kashmir High Court has directed Jammu and Kashmir government to provide un-interrupted power supply to Jagti Township. The Court's direction came in response to the litigation filed by the KP migrants living in the Jagti Migrant Camp thorugh Shadi Lal Pandita, JTC president. In its direction to respondents namely Union of India, through ministry of Home Affairs, New Delhi, State of Jammu and Kashmir through Chief Secretary, Civil Sectt Jammu/Srinagar, Commissioner Cum Secretary Revenue, Relief and Rehabilitation, Commissioner Cum Secretary Power Development Department and Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner (M) Canal Road, the court observed that the power be provided un interruptedly to the migrants who are living in Jagti Township on parity with the similar migrants. |
