Prsi celebrates national PR Day | | | Jammu, Apr 20: Public relation society of India J&K chapter celebrated its National PR Day at Red Cross Bhawan Kachi Chawni Jammu under the chairmanship of Anil K Padha While giving the welcome address Anil K Padha informed the gathering that PRSI was established long back in 1958 in India to formulate and interpret the objectives and potentialities of public relations as a profession and also to undertake professional development programs. He added that India is proud to have the world's one of the oldest culture going back about 5000years and India is a diverse country having its distinct cultures which needs special attention of all Indians. Dinesh Gupta Chairman Citizens Co-op Bank was the chief guest on the occasion who appreciated the efforts of Anil K Padha to revive PRSI J&K Chapter after a gap of six years and recalled the contribution of late Sati Sawhney and Ram Sahai in the field of Public relations through this chapter of PRSI. While appreciating the theme of PRSI for the current year. A cultural program was presented on this occasion in which Dogri songs were presented by Rakesh Salathia and Nirbhay Salathia and accompanied by Vijay Anand on tabla which was applauded by the gathering.
