MV International celebrates ‘Activity Day’

Jammu, July 16: A series of co-curricular activities were organized during celebrations of the annual ‘Activity Day’ at MV International School in which large number of students from host school participated with great enthusiasm. Student from classes I to XII participated in various activities held in various categories and age groups.
The fun games and other activities including indoor and outdoor were held during the morning session in school premises and a panel of experts adjudged the performances of participants individually as well as team wise that is the houses they represented.
“The student of Kinder Garten wing participated in the activity which taught them good hygiene manners and importance of cleanliness in daily life. The primary wing students of classes I & II were involved in Show & Tell Activity in which they were made to speak few words on various items that they brought from their homes, school spokesperson said. He added students from Classes III to V students participated in Spell-Bee Activity in which they were given the words and were asked to spell the right spellings while students from Classes VI to VIII students presented an extempore speech on the topics allotted on the spot and were asked to speak for 3 minutes on the same. “It involved students from four different houses (Darwin, Edison, Einstein and Newton). The first prize won by Raghav (Darwin House) of Class VI, second by Kanika (Newton House) of Class VIII and the Third prize by Gurpreet (Einstein House) of Class VIII, he added.
In the outdoor activity the boy students of class IX to XII took part in the Inter House Football match while the girls of higher classes participated in the Rangoli Making Competition.
The first prize won by Darwin House, Second by Einstein and the Third prize by the Edison House.
MV International School pays great amount of attention in organizing and conducting a variety of activities for overall development of its students, the statement concluded.
