JMUK to take up cause of an old aged person allegedly dumped alone by kin

Jammu, July 16: Underlining that it take up the cause of an aged person who is allegedly dumped by his sons over property issue, the Jagriti Mahila Udyog Kendra (NGO) today said it shall take up the cause of 95 yrs who has been allegedly robbed of all the hard earned savings by his three sons.
During a specially convened press conference in which the NGO office bearers flanking S Sharan Singh of village Kadiyal in R.S Pura raised the issue of aged person to appropriate levels through the media in which aged person alleged that his three sons not only robbed him of his hard earned money but also mercilessly beaten him.
While speaking to media persons withered man recalled his woeful story how his sons and grandsons dumped him. He alleged that his three sons namely Rawel Singh, Nirmal Singh and Surinder Singh turned the wheel of fate against him since April 245 when he withdrew an amount of Rs 98,000/- from his accounts at the Rural Bank Kadiyal and Punjab National Bank RS Pura for his medical treatment.
"After keeping cash in a box at his house, I went to Army Hospital, Jammu Cantt for check up in the OPD and to get medicines, he said adding, "my son-in-law accompanied with me at hospital."
"When I returned to home late in the evening, the sky fell upon me on as all three sons ganged up against me and beat me mercilessly as well as his son-in-law, he alleged further adding, "box containing cash too was found broken while cash was missing."
"The thing didn't smother for me," he said adding, "the next day my grandson, (son of his eldest son Rawel Singh) under some pretext made me to sit in their Maruti car and dropped me at some unknown place."
He added that some sympathetic person helped him and on his request dropped him to the place of his son-in-law in village Sunjawan of Vijaypur and since then he is putting up with his daughter and son-in-law as his sons do not allow him to come to his native village. He also maintained that he has disinherited all his three sons and grandsons from his movable and immovable property through a petition registered in the court on May 31 this year. He also revealed that he even has lodged an FIR against his sons with the Police at R.S Pura but no action has till date been taken in this regard
In the end Mrs Veena Bakshi, President Jagriti Mahila Udyog Kendra told the media persons that she will pursue the case of helpless old man to its logical end and get him the justice.
