| Kathua, July 16: Sarpanches of Kathua today urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to construct an alternative Railway station in Kathua. Addressing a press conference Sarpanch of Panchayat Chack Gaddadar Ajay Sharma and Sarpanch of Panchayat Jakhbar Rajinder Singh urged the Modi Government to consider the long pending demand for creation of an alternate railway station which was proposed by the Nav Kathua Railway Station Nirmaan Samiti behind the Ram Leela Ground near Boliyan. "The project is useful for entire District Kathua in which the far-off of areas as well as Kandi and Adhar areas including Nagri, Kokhyal, Changran, Badala, Jakhbar and many others will be developed from all angles", they said, adding that all the people of Andhar belt were pledged to strengthen a movement for the project under the banner of Nav Kathua Railway Station Nirmaan Samiti. |
