Political workers join PDP

Jammu, July 16: A number of political workers of Ourian, Mandi Wala, Mani Wala and Fanai Wala area of Akhnoor today joined Peoples Democratic Party in presence of general secretary Yash Pal Sharma, MLC. Addressing the new entrants at Party Office at Gandhi Nagar Yashpal Sharma said that National Conference led coalition regime has proved as total failure and called upon party workers to launch a war against this anti-people government. Sharma lamented that people in most part of Jammu region have been facing starvation due to non availability of ration in the remotest areas. He said that non availability of ration and worst power situation in this region has further compounded woes of commoners. "Common masses at the verge to starvation due to non availability of ration but the authorities are unconcerned towards miseries of the people", he said and flayed the the government for adopting non serious attitude towards woes of the commoners. "Instead of solve problems of the common masses, ruling elites are more concerned about their petty politicking", he regretted. "The day Omar Abdullah has taken over as Chief Minister of the State problems of the common masses have been increasing as one and the only aim of this dispensation is to enjoy the power without caring problems of the common masses", he observed. He exhorted party workers to launch a war this anti-people dispensation. "Failure of the government can be gauged from the fact that farmers,employees, technocrats, unemployment youth, students have been agitating in one or other way but the government is no serious in solve their problems", he said.
Seniors leaders Dhaman Bhasin, Amrik Singh Reen, Rafiq Chpoudhary, Rajinder Singh and others were present on the occasion. Sharma called upon the new entrants and party workers to educate the masses to about the revolutionary steps which taken by Mufti Mohammed Sayeed during his tenure as Chief Minister of the State.
"Mufti Mohammed Sayeed has set an example of good governance and he has carved out a path of equitable development", he observed and reminded the party workers that it was during the regime of PDP led government that all regions and sub-regions of the State were treatment equally. He reminded the people about revolutionary steps which were taken during the regime of Mufti Mohammed Sayeed for the development and betterment of the State. Ramesh lal, Raman Kumar, Tarsem Sharma, Rohit Salaria, Lovely Sharma, Sumit Sharma, Vishal Abrol, Anmol, Karan Kaumar were among those who joined PDP.
