Jammu , Aug 22 : Hundreds of daily wagers of PHE department under the banner of All J&K PHE ITI/CP Wrokers, Casual Labourers and Need Based Association held strong demonstration at press Club Jammu today.
The protesters led by their president TanveerHussain raised slogans against the government.
Hussain while addressing the protesters asked the state government to frame a police for their regularization.
He said that despite lodging complaints at a number of times no result has been shown by the government till date as a result they are forced to come on roads.
As per Association president Tanveer Hussain said to the state Govt, for framing a policy for their regularization but no result has been shown by the Govt till date ,as the result we the casual labour (Daily Rated Workers) of ITI trained / CP Workers PHE Deptt has decided to go for a Massive Protest and KAAM CHORO HARTAL in front of Press club Jammu.
He appealed all daily wagers of PHE Department to come and support their protest on August 22, 2014 to make pressure on the government to fulfill their reasonable demands.
Other prominent activists who addressed the protest were SubashChander, Deepak Gupta,, Manjeet Singh, Sumit, Dushyant Sudan, Kuldeep Choudhary, Vijay Kumar, Kuldeep Kumar Mohd Shakoor, Mushtaq, Ashok, Ajay Samayalia, Ranjit Singh, San deep Singh Rana, Prithvi Singh, Kulbhushan Singh and Yogesh. |
