MBS, GMC, ASCOMS in men's TT semis | | | 8 Inter-college competitions of JU
JAMMU, Aug 27: Semifinals line up has been drawn in both men and women's table tennis event in the ongoing inter-college competitions under the banner of Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu at Gymnasium Hall on the campus, here today. Teams reaching the last four stages are Mahant Bachiter Singh (MBS) College of Engineering and Technology, Government Medical College (GMC), Acharya Shri Chandra College of Medical Sciences (ASCOMS) and Government Degree College (GDC) Udhampur. Now, the semifinals have been scheduled tomorrow from 10 am onwards in men section, followed by those last four stages matches in women category from 11.30 am onwards. Earlier, in the quarterfinals, played today, GDC Udhampur defeated GGM Science College 3-0 while MBS College outplayed Government SPMR College of Commerce 3-1. Similarly, in other semifinals, ASCOMS trounced the combined side of Post Graduate (PG) Departments while GMC beat Government MAM College 3-2. Today's matches officiated by the technical penal including Ravish Vaid, Gourav Sharma, Amit Sharma, Sandeep Khadotra and Rekha Ratra.
