Congress activists seek mandate for Jang Bahadur

JAMMU, Aug 27: District Congress Committee, Jammu East organized a meeting today which was attended by large number of Congress workers, prominent citizens and supporters of the party participated. Besides them, the youth Congress workers also participated in large number in the said meeting. The meeting was presided over by General Secretary, District Congress Committee, Jammu East, Jang Bahadur Sharma.
The main agenda of the meeting was to chalk out strategy of upcoming Assembly elections and sought mandate for the local representative from the Jammu East. While addressing the gathering in the said meeting Jang Bahadhur expressed his gratitude towards the Congress leaders, specially youth for showing their concern and confidence in him. He further said that every time an outsider from the Constituency is given mandate by the party high command, for which he said that this will not be tolerated now. He urged the party High command to give mandate to a local Congress leader to meet the aspirations of the Congress workers and supporters of the party.
