Jammu, Sept 23: Sahil Gupta son of soil and an upcoming creative designer got himself acknowledged at a national platform by receiving a Special National Star Award 2014 for his excellence in printing from Beatrice Klose, Secy General, Intergraf & World Print Communication Forum, Brussels during a glittering function held in the Hotel Ashok, New Delhi on the other day. Not surprisingly for at the age of 10, he attended the South Print Congress in Kathmandu (Nepal) with his father, Anil Gupta, renowned design consultant and printer (national award winner), with numerous acclaims and accolades to his credit, in J&K State. Sahil had claimed first prize in photography in 2012 during his college days and was also nominated for student of the year Print week Awards 2013. After completing his graduation from Fine Arts College, Pune and his training in the Biggest in India, Thomson Press, Delhi, he kept on frequently visiting printing exhibitions all over India. Recently, he visited PRINTECH Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) and planning to go Germany for some technical specialization. He now is aspiring to establish a design boutique in Jammu. |
