50% Zoology lecturers overstaying in various colleges 9/23/2014 11:04:08 PM Akshay Azad JAMMU, Sept 23: At least 50% Zoology lecturers have been overstaying in various colleges across the state many of them by paying hefty amounts. Out of the list of 73 Zoology lecturers, 37 are overstaying in various colleges and Mohammad Azam of Poonch tops the list. He has been overstaying in GDC Poonch for the last 17 years, followed by Aurengzeb Anjum, posted at GDC Poonch has been overstaying for the last 14 years. Mansa Ram posted at GDC Bhaderwah, Shafali Abrol posted at WC Gandhi Nagar and Alpana Vohra posted at GGM Science College for the last around 13 years in their respective colleges. Shafali Abrol remained posted at GGM Science college from 2001 to 2010 and a brief period from 5/2010 to 12/2011 she remained posted at GDC Kathua but retained posting at WC Gandhi Nagar in 2011 while Alpana Vohra remained posted at GGM Science College from 6/2001 to 9/2012 and then was transferred to GDC Kathua but remained there for seven months and returned back to GGM Science college in 4/2013. Farooq Ahmad posted at GDC Poonch, Satinder Kour posted at WC Gandhi Nagar, Sanjeet Kour posted at WC Gandhi Nagar and Neeraj Kumar Gupta posted at WC Parade have been overstaying there for the last 11 years. Neeraj Kumar Gupta remained at WC Parade from 6/2003 to 8/2011 and was posted at GDC Hiranagar but after only 17 months he retained posting at WC Parade, while same is the case of Sanjeet Kour who in last 11 years, stayed at GDC Kathua for 2 months and retuned back to Jammu city. Meenakshi Bandral posted at WC Parade has been overstaying for the last 10 years. Before her posting at this college she was posted at GGM Science college where she stayed from 3/2011 to 1/2014 while Vasudha Chowdhary posted at WC Gandhi Nagar for the last nine years while Anuradha posted at GGM Science college has been overstaying for the last eight years and Harvinder Kour posted at GDC Poonch has been overstaying for the last seven years. Chanchal Angral posted at WC Parade has been overstaying for the last six years in Jammu city while by Amrit Kour posted at WC Gandhi Nagar has been overstaying for the last five years. Sarabjeet Kour Reen posted at GDC Samba, Preet Pal Kour posted at WC Gandhi Nagar, Prafleet Bambroo posted at GGM Science college, Chatterpati Sharma posted at GDC Bemina, Saleem Ayaz Arif posted at GDC Thanamandi, Sushma Sharma posted at GGM Science college, Tasleem posted at WC Parade, Gurpreet Kour posted at GDC Udhampur, Shamim Akhter posted at WC Gandhi Nagar, Brinder Kumar posted at WC Udhampur, Sarshad Hussain posted at GDC Mendhar, Fateh Mohammad posted at GDC Poonch, Shamim A Banday posted at GDC Poonch, Aijaz Ahmad posted at GDC Doda, Natisha Sawhney posted at WC Gandhi Nagar, Romana Akhter posted at GDC Kishtwar, Wahied Khawar posted at GDC Doda, Raheela Mushtaq GDC Rajouri and Shaishta Aijaz Dar posted at GDC Paloura, have been serving at their respective colleges for the last more than four years, in violation of transfer policy.
