FCIJ organizes cooking competition | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Dec 11: Food Craft Institute Jammu (FCIJ) organized first of its kind a cooking competition of different categories of students so to bring out their hidden creative talent today. Numbers of students have an interest in culinary skills with a passion and are preparing themselves for competing at National and International platform. The first of its kind competition would give an opportunity to students bring out their best creative talent to be judged by a panel of experts so that they are recognized, acknowledged and motivated to enhance their creativity in a much bigger way and at a much larger platform. While, the Principal of the Institute Jyoti Bhatti informed that the Institute was engaged in imparting quality skilled education to the youths of the region in various trades of Hotel and Hospitality to make them employable in the respective areas. "We have amazing and resilient culinary students who are poised to be 'Junior Master Chef' who are filled with a wonderful passion for cooking," she stated and adding they possess the drive and purpose to change the way our localities, families, surroundings view healthy cooking. Two categories of competition have been designed keeping in view the age groups. The shortlisted contestants will perform on December 13th 2014 at Food Craft Institute Jammu and the shortlisted contestants will then compete in several challenges which will test their knowledge and preparation skills. The experts from Hotel Industry will be the Judges of this competition and Food Craft Institute Jammu will present the certificates to participants and trophies to the Winners on the same day. |
