Jammu, Dec 11: Even as a senior Central leader of the BJP has asked state president of the party Jugal Kishore Sharma to take immediate action against Aditi Sharma after Wednesday's episode, the state president has reportedly expressed his "helplessness" to take action against the powerful female leader due to her strong connections with the higher ups of BJP and RSS.
Jugal Kishore Sharma has only served a show cause notice to Aditi Sharma but no strict action has been taken so far.
Realizing that action against Aditi Sharma would annoy some RSS and BJP higher-ups, Jugal Kishore Sharma has assured that strict action would be taken only after assembly elections.
Credible sources in BJP said that leaders of Himachal Pradesh (HP) have lodged their strong protest against attitude of the supporters of Aditi Sharma before a central leader, who again asked Jugal Kishore Sharma sack Aditi Sharma from the primary membership of party after Wednesday's episode. The central leader has also asked Jugal Kishore Sharma to announce in the media also.
Fearing that any strict action against powerful female leader would annoy some top brass leaders of RSS and BJP, Jugal Kishore Sharma is buying time so that humiliated seasoned leaders of HP would be pacified by that time. Jugal Kishore Sharma, who has earned the credential of one of the weakest state president of BJP, is looking helpless to take strict action against a leader with connections at Delhi.
Furthermore, sources said, Aditi Sharma, who has sufficient money and muscle powers, has reportedly financed some of the BJP candidates and state leaders so these leaders are also opposing action at this point of time when elections are at its peak.
Only time will prove whether BJP state president would exercise his power to take action against Aditi Sharma for instigating her supporters to manhandle a seasoned politician of HP but one thing is clear that deterioration in the "party with a difference" has started and genuine and dedicated workers feeling suffocated and humiliated. Parachute leaders with money and muscle powers have hijacked the party by corrupting some senior RSS and BJP leaders of the Centre. |
