Nirvana Academy celebrates spirit of UN Human Rights Days | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Dec 11: To inspire youth to become valuable advocates for tolerance and peace through education in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, two days programme on human rights was organized at Auditorium Red Cross Bhawan Jammu. The event was organized by Nirvana academy A Regd. Club in association with Indian Red Cross Society Jammu region and Federation of Indian Blood Donor Organisations. Programme was supported by Surya Milks and JMU plus Social networking partner. The two day events featured annual skit festival presented by students of various schools, theatre groups and seminar on the "Celebrating 20 years of Changing lives through Human Rights". Arunima Sinha GM trainings Art of living J& K and Secretary IAS Wives association was Chief Guest on the occasion along with Ravi Puri Secretary Red Cross Society Jammu region, Sohail Kazmi Senior Journalist, Vikrant Dogra Vice President FIBDO, Dr. Ashq Malik Astt. Prof. GCW Gandhi nagar was Guest of Honor on the occasion along with other dignitaries The capability of youth advocates was evident throughout the skits with entertainment spreading the message of peace by talented young artists representing their respective schools including BSK high School Domana, KC Public School, Dewan Devi Public School, Krishna Public School and Dr. Ambedkar Convent School. |
