| Jugal gives Rana right, left & centre | | Accuses him of making irresponsible statements | | Jammu, Dec 11 : Stating that the NC leader & party candidate for Nagrota assembly constituency Davinder Singh Rana is indulging in unhealthy and unethical politics, BJP State President & MP Jugal Kishore Sharma, while addressing a press conference at party headquarters on Thursday, alleged that the NC leader has nothing to claim or boast of and is only making irresponsible, irrelevant and misleading statements to befool the voters of Nagrota constituency.Kishore said that the NC leader, who is also MLC and was Political Advisor to the State Chief Minister, should first explain as to what kind of advise he provided to the CM/state government, which resulted into rise in corruption and unemployment as well as continuation of discrimination with Jammu.
Did he ever utilize his good office to convince the government to think about the future of about 62,000 daily wagers? Did he, as Advisor, suggest the government to strengthen State Accountability Commission? The Ex-Advisor is seriously advised to first come out with his achievements before selling dreams of making Nagrota a Model town, Jugal said. Sharma said that during eleven and a half years as MLA of this constituency, "I did best to my capacity to mitigate the sufferings and wipe tears of the people, even though being associated to opposition party, the state government did not considered his demands for the constituency" he said.Sharma, while elaborating on his works as MLA of Nagrota constituency, said that a number of schools and dispensaries were upgraded, news PHCs and buildings for schools were constructed, dozens of inaccessible villages were linked to main roads, a number of hand pumps were installed, electric poles were installed to take electricity to the needed villages, many developmental activities were commissioned besides implementing welfare schemes for aged people, widows, poor and weaker sections were taken to the genuinely deserving people. Not only this, a number of projects under MGNREGA, NABARD, Asian Bank, and other institutions were taken into hand. He advised the people not to fall prey to the Ex-Advisor and vote for BJP for real development of their constituency rather than depending on dreams of the NC candidate.BJP State Election Media Incharge& State Spokesperson Arun Kumar Gupta and State Spokesperson & State Press Secretary Balbir Ram Rattan were also present in the press conference. |
