Poonch, Feb 15: Under the supervision of Maulana Ghulam Qadir, Chief Patron, Zia-ul-Uloom group of institutions and Member All India Muslim Personal Law Board , Jamia successfully held 51st relief camp at village Islamabad of Tehsil haveli In Poonch. In this relief camp, Jamia has distributed 100 blankets beside 100 food packets to the flood victims and poor families. The volunteers of Jamia led by Rasheed Ahmed visited the site and distributed the material. It is pertinent to mention that, Jamia has tremendously and tirelessly worked hard during this flood time just to compensate the miseries of the common sufferers. Jamia's role in the recent flood is very well acknowledged by the district administration many times. Jamia has always worked for all irrespective of caste, colour, region or religion. Speaking on the occasion, Maulana Sayeed Habib said that they have already constructed two residential houses for the needy people. Maulana Ghulam Qadir, the chief patron of the Zia-ul-uloom group of institutions said that they were not only trying our best in providing education to the people but we are striving hard in uplifting the living standard of the people and also trying to strike a balance between socio economic conditions of the poor masses. |
