POONCH, Feb 15: Police today booked three boys for raping a minor girl of at Poonch.
Sources said that late last night father of the girl lodged a complaint alleging that some boys abducted the minor girl and committed rape on her.
On the basis of complaint police booked Mohd Irfan, son of Mohd Yasin, resident of Mohalla Kama Khan, Poonch, Mohd Talla, son of Mohd Yasin, president of Mohalla Kama Khan, Poonch and Mudasir Resident of Poonch for committing rape on a minor girl. Police said that they have registered a FIR No 33, under section 376, act at Police Station Poonch and raided various places to arrest the culprits however police managed to arrest only one culprit when he tried to flee from the spot.
A Senior Police officer confirmed that we have registered a case in this connection. He said on the request of parents of the girl we registered a case. He added that we have arrested a boy and we are trying to arrest another he added. |
