Kishtwar, Feb 15: Chinar Power Projects Workers Union District Kishtwar expressed serious concern over the long delay into the resumption of work over the Rattle HE Project Drabshalla which has caused a brewing resentment among the unemployed youths of the district. Addressing the gathering, Chairman of the union Joginder Bhandari urged upon the Governor of Jammu and Kashmir to issue pending legal farmalities in respect of the client M/s GVK Power Development so that the work upon the Rattle HE project could to resumed for the larger interest of the unemployeds as well as the people of the district. He has also urged upon the management of GVK to stay away from some vested interest who for their personal interest are misleading the management and make a good liaison with the common people in order to carry out smooth functioning of the project and provide employment to the local deserving youths of the district without taking consent of the some retired state government officers engaged in the project as they have been rejected by the people of the district. The leaders have demanded that priority of employment in the said project should to given to those who were having sufficient experience of handling machinaries being used in the hydroelectric project and those having no experience should be engaged as helpers/assistants so that they could also gain experience so that they could be absorbed in upcoming H.E Projects like Pakal Dul ,Kero,Kawar ,Karthi,Burser and Dul Hasti stage -II projects. Those spoke on the ocassion includes Mohd Amin Butt,Tariq Patri,Anil Sharma, Mohd Khalil Tapal, Javed Malipath, Gh. Hussain Gannie, Sameer Butt,Rinku Tandulkar and Hafizullah Mattoo. |
