Early Times Report Jammu, Feb 15: All J&K CPMF Welfare Association General Secretary, Darshan Kumar expressed concern over callous attitude of the Central government for not addressing the difficulties and problems being faced by the Central Paramilitary (BSF, CRPF, ITBP, SSB) Ex-serviceman, veer naries and dependents since the creation of these forces. Darshan, while addressing press conference at Press Club said neither present nor previous central governments have taken up the case since the formation of these forces. "Finally, we called a general bodies meeting of CPMF Association at R.S Pura Jammu on 30 Nov 2014 in which state Associations from Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and J&K graciously participated. A decision in "one voice" was taken that all associations shall boycott parties and shall only support BJP in country and to ensure overall victory and defeat erstwhile parties," he maintained. "In this context, our veer naries and dependents of CPMF have reminded many times to Prime Minister Narindera Modi, Raj Nath Singh and Dr. Jatinder Singh but nothing has been done on the ground so far", he added. He further demanded that revision of pension pre and post retirees by honoring apex court decision granting with grade pay and compensation commensurate with the Military service Pay @ 2000, 3000 and 6000 respectively to ORs, SOs and Officers of CPMF including medical allowance from Rs. 500 pm to 2000 as 500 is totally inadequate to meet the medical expenditure with meager pension of Rs. 3500. Gazette notification gives the Ex-Paramilitary servicemen right to avail the facilities all over country, martyr status to brave soldiers who sacrificed their lives on duty in letter and spirit and other related issues which are still unsettled by central government. |
