| RET teachers stage protest, demand release of salary | | |
Rajouri, Feb 15: Rehabre-e-Taleem (ReT) Teachers from Peeri education zone of Rajouri district held a meeting at Rajouri today and demanded immediate release their pending salaries as they are facing many difficulties in meeting their domestic necessities.
The meeting was chaired by Aftab Tantrey, district president of ReT Teachers Forum (ReTTF) and was attended by the senior leaders from Peeri education zone. The participants also showed their dissatisfaction over the anti-association activities of Maroof Chowdhry, Zonal (Peeri) president of ReTTF and demanded his replacement. Aftaf Tantrey asked Maroof Chowdhry to explain his postion within one week otherwise ReTTF will be forced to take action against him.
Prominent among the those attended the meeting include Outtakesh Singh, Liyaqat, Maroon Khan, Vikas Khajuria and Arshad Gujjar.
