Samba, Feb 15: A National Lok Adalat held at District Court Samba the Chairmanship of Inder Singh, Chairman District Legal Services Authority, (Pro District & Sessions Judge Judge), Samba in collaboration with Ritesh K. Dubey, Chairman Tehsil Legal Services Committee, (Sub-Judge) Samba.
Two benches are constituted. One bench presided over by the undersigned and comprising of CJM Samba, Sukhdev Singh Sambyal and Suderhsan Khanmotra Advocates took up the Pre and post litigation loan recovery cases. Second bench headed by Manzoor Hussain Munsiff {JMIC} Samba, assisted by Shashi Bhushan Thappa Advocate took up the cases u/s 138 NI Act. In the aforesaid National Lok Adalat, 90 cases are taken up and 57 cases are disposed off with the following break up. 54 Bank cases are settled in which RS.36,99,651 lakh is awarded, and a sum of Rs.227200/-was recovered on the spot. 3 cases uls 138 NIA is also settled. All members of Bar Association Samba also participated in the National Lok Adalat. |
