NGAGA organizes meeting, highlights issues | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Feb 15: Non Gazetted Agriculture Graduates Association (NGAGA) Jammu organised meeting and highlighted the issues which are being faced by them. According to press release, a meeting organized with Non Gazetted Aagriculture Graduates Association Jammu, J&K Agriculture Technocrats Association Jammu, Agriculture Technocrats Welfare Association Kashmir, All J&K Employed Association in NGAGA office Krishi Bhawan Jammu. On the occasion, president of NGAGA Pardeep Sharma resented the proposed amendment in the gazetted service rule1988, which were got, amended by then government from 50:50 to 80:20 vide SRO NO 433 DT December 28, 2007 in the light of the long and huge stagnation since 25 to 30 yrs admitting the submitted facts of stagnation. He urged the govt that the proposed amendment at no cost shall be tolerated because it's going to hamper all ways and processes of promoting the long standing Jr AEOs in row. Moreover, he also urged the govt that by enacting the proposed bias amendment there shall be more of distress frustration in the cadre Jr AEOS who are going to swell in near future &are the feeding cadre to class vii &equivalent. While, President ATWA Kashmir and JCC Shakeel Ahmad also advocated the implementation of SRO 433 DT28.12.2007 (Amendment in gazetted service rule from 50:50 to 80:20 in letter and spirit which was amended due to the dire necessity of removing the long stagnation of the Jr AEOS cadre, who have been deprived of their due promotions because of the negligent attitude of the govt. He also emphasised that referral attitude of the govt for the post of AEOS & equivalent shall at no cost be tolerated, he further added though the reorganization of the long stagnant department is welcome step but carrier progression of Jr AEOS who are worse sufferers by the induced monotony in the department may be given due consideration by elevating the Jr AEOS post equivalent to the AEOS and the weightage may be given in the reorganisation of the department. They urged Governor who is head of the state to intervene and address the grievances of the aggrieved agriculture fraternity. |
