Jammu, Feb 15: Socio Economic Women Development Society (SEWDS) organized a programme on stipend distribution function and distributed cheques to 30 beneficiaries in the presence of member of Rajya Sabha Shamsher Singh Manhas on Sunday. According to press release, General Secretary Mitu Rajput said that cheques were distributed the beneficiaries those who have completed the skilled training programme free of cost on Handicraft and Handloom Sector which is running at Balika Niketan Ashram Amphalla, Jammu and Talli Morh , Janipur. She further said that the main motive of this training was to make unemployed women self-dependent in the field of Handicraft and Handloom. Among those who were attended the function included Pallvi Thakur Designer, Neha Bakshi Teacher, Parveen Kour, Pachi Manhas, Sunil Koul, Sarpanch Ikbal Chowhary and others. |
