Kishtwar, Feb 15: A capacity building training programme for Panchayati Raj Institutions (PRIs) was organized at Ghat Block in district Doda under the Backward Region Grant Fund (BRGF) programme wherein all the Sarpanches and Panches of the Block participated.
Assistant Commissioner Development Doda, Dhananter Singh while speaking on the occasion sensitized the participants about the various aspects of planning, execution and selection of development works under BRGF, MGNREGA and other schemes being implemented through the Rural Development Department.
BDO Ghat Shokat Hayat Mattoo also spoke on this occasion and interacted with PRI representatives and brief them about new guide lines under Panchayat Raj Act and various other schemes. Majid Ali Wani Principal BRGF/RRC, Ankush Kumar, P.O. MGNREGA and Adil Rashid Malik, P.O BRGF were also present on the occasion. |
