JAMMU, Feb 15: Kabaddi team of University of Jammu shall depart for Meerut in Uttar Pardesh to take part in the North Zone Inter-University (Men) Kabaddi Tournament hosted by Choudhary Charan Singh University (CCSU) tomorrow. "In the opening match, JU shall be playing against Faizabad University on February 18", informed the kabaddi coach of the JU, Gagan Kumar, here today.
Earlier, the selected probable underwent a coaching camp held on the campus grounds, here. Soon after the final selection, the team interacted with Director, Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, Prof Dhian Singh Bhau, who wished the JU men success in the upcoming event.
The team is accompanied by Ankush Gupta and Gagan as coach and manager respectively. The Team: Rashpal Singh, Mohd Imran, Suyesh Singh, Hashdeep Singh, Chandervir, Aman Singh, Shubham Dubey, Shubam Sharma, Lucky Sharma, Ranmeet Singh, Mohit Sharma and Aashiq Hussain. |
