Jammu, Feb 15: Spring Dales Higher Secondary School, Krishna Nagar and Lower Barnai, Jammu jointly organized their 31st Annual Day Function today here at General Zorawar Singh Auditorium, University of Jammu. Bali Bhagat, MLA Raipur Domana Constituency, Jammu remained as the Chief Guest while Dr Arvinder Singh Aman, Additional Secretary and Sunil Raina HOD, Sitar IMFA, Jammu University were the guests of honour . In the Mega cultural function about 200 hundred students of both the schools exhibited their talent through the various activities of Music, dance and Theatre art and spellbound the audience. The function commenced with the lightening of the traditional lamp followed by Vandana, a classical dance based on vedic hymns, besides the other attraction of the function were chocolate ka Bangla, Ek Anek Aur Ekta (a ballet by students of Springdales School Barnai Jammu ) on unity and Pluralism, I want to be everything, all choreographed by Parwana, Sumant and Neha. Speaking on the occasion, Bali Bhagat in his address congratulated the principals, teachers, Staff and management of the school who render their selfless services to the society and the nation as a whole. He wished besides, completing the syllabus and curriculum the teachers should create a very conducive and congenial atmosphere in the school so that the students get the opportunity to grow as the civilized citizens of tomorrow. Dr. Arvinder Singh Aman in his address complimented the principal, staff and the student's who presented their best performance. He said that the Education institutions are not known by the concrete infrastructure only but by the teachers and the students who create history in the field of education in terms of the achievements in the various fields of curriculum and co- curriculum. |
