Physical verification of works under MGNREGA demanded 2/16/2015 12:22:19 AM Early Times Report Kishtwar, Feb 15: Chairman Chinar Power Projects Workers Union District Kishtwar ,Joginder Bhandari has demanded physical verification of all the works against which payments have been drawn in RDD block Kishtwar under MGNREGA scheme during the year 2013-14. Joginder Bhandari Chairman of the union in his statement has said that the RDD block Kishtwar has drawn corores of rupees under the scheme MGNREGA during the year 2013-14 without executing work which needs proper verification through State Vigilance Organisation (SVO) .He said protection work and other related work under this scheme has been shown in papers and payments stands drawn which is a huge loss to the state exchequer .Bhandari further said and added that the RDD block Kishtwar with the collaboration of concerned Sarpances and VLW's have misappropriated the funds worth crores of rupees which needs to be physically verified through the State Vigilance Organisation and the property accumulated by the concerned ACD,BDO, JE's , VLW's and Sarpances should be also verified.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
