Madni to be the next chairman of Legislative Council 3/27/2015 12:28:16 AM Asif Iqbal Naik Early Times Report Jammu, Mar 26: Senior Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) leader and former Deputy Speaker Legislative Assembly Sartag Madni according to the sources is all set to be the next Chairman Legislative Council. The sources informed the "Early Times" that 65 year old Madni will replace incumbent chairmen Amrit Malhotra whose tenure is expiringtomorrow. The sources said that PDP has finalized the name of Sartag Madni for MLC to be nominated by the government along with seven others whose tenure is expiring tomorrow. The sources added that Madni is likely to take oath on next Sunday.
