Jammu, Apr 25: Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM), Budgam, Kamlesh Pandita today rejected the bail application of separatist Masarat Alam Bhat of Zindar Mohalla, Srinagar, who was booked by police under sections 120-B (Conspiracy), 121 (waging or attempting to wage war, or abetting the waging of war against Government of India), 124-A (Sedition), 147 (rioting), 336 ( doing any act which endangers human life or the personal safety of others), 341 (wrongfully restraining any person), 427 (mischief) and 13 of Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act. According to police case, he and other accused had on April 15 last organised at Indira Gandhi Humhama a procession to welcome Hirriyat's Syed Ali Shah Geelani on his return from Delhi and the accused along with others indulged in stone throwing on a CRPF vehicle and also interfered with the road traffic and it was also reported that the accused raised anti-national slogans and slogans in favour of Pakistan as being Pakistani agents. The police report also revealed that the accused being the habitual anti-national offender had been arrested on April 17, 2015 to investigate the allegations against him. (JNF) |
